Admissions and Marketing Director
Overview
Saint Demetrios Greek-American School is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and relationship-driven Admissions and Marketing Director to lead enrollment growth and strengthen the school's brand presence in the community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about independent school education, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate proven success in admissions, marketing, and community engagement. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the long-term sustainability and growth of our school.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tuition payments, including processing cash, checks, and electronic payments from families.
- Maintain accurate records of receivables in Blackbaud and coordinate with the school accountant for reconciliation.
- Oversee school financial aid programs, ensuring eligibility and compliance with funding policies.
- Provide financial updates to the School Board regarding tuition, receivables, and aid distribution.
- Work with the Director of Technology to optimize Blackbaud CRM for admissions tracking and reporting as well as Tuition Management for electronic payments.
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to meet enrollment targets.
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and collaborate with faculty and administration on admissions decisions.
- Conduct and lead campus tours, open houses, information sessions, individual family meetings and other admissions outreach initiatives to attract prospective families.
- Track and analyze admissions data and enrollment trends to inform strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and parishes
- Coordinate shadow days and student visits
- Partner with the Supervising Principal and School Board/President to ensure enrollment efforts meet school goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, guiding them through the admissions process.
- Collaborate with the School Board Marketing Committee on strategic communications, branding, and promotional efforts.
- Enhance the school’s visibility through digital and community-based outreach.
- Create engaging content including newsletters, brochures, videos, blog posts, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the Director of Technology to develop and oversee the school's website, social media accounts, and digital marketing efforts.
- Develop partnerships with local media outlets for press coverage and community engagement.
- Represent the school at community events, educational fairs, and Greek-American cultural gatherings.
- Build relationships with the Greek Orthodox community, alumni, and local organizations.
- Coordinate efforts for fundraising and donor engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to highlight student achievements, programs, and events.
- Participate in monthly School Board meetings, providing updates on recruitment, outreach, and financial matters.
- 8-hour shift (8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) Monday to Friday (Weekend and Evening Events as needed; hours TBD)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in admissions, marketing, communications, or enrollment management (independent school experience preferred).
- Proven track record of successful enrollment growth and marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and website content management.
- Experience with CRM systems and data management (Blackbaud, Salesforce, or similar platforms).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for events and school representation.

- A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in admissions and marketing techniques.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
