Dining Assistants Full Time

The Daughters of Charity Is Looking for Team Players!

We are looking for a caring and energetic individual to join our team as a full time Dining Assistant. Experience in an assisted living community is preferred.

We are home for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity, located in a peaceful, park like setting providing independent, assisted and memory care in a person respected environment. Senior living experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Our Dining Assistants may help in the following areas:

Serving meals to our resident Sisters in a professional, courteous and friendly manner always being attentive to their requests. Performing a variety of tasks necessary to assist in the care and maintenance of the work area, equipment and supplies including removing recyclables, transporting food items to respective storage areas, cleaning kitchen equipment as scheduled.

Perform various tasks necessary to assist cooks with the preparation of scheduled meals including making salads and other food items as directed by the cook, assist in serving meals in a tasteful and attractive manner, ensure that, after the meal, all food is cleared and properly stored. Experience in a Senior residence is preferred.

May need to work weekends and Holidays

Differentials available- 1st shift, Saturday/Sunday, $3.00/hour more

2nd shift, Monday-Friday, $3.00/hour more

2nd shift, Saturday/Sunday, $6.00/hour more

Per diem positions are also available.
