Overview
MRI Technologist – Travel assignment in Watertown, NY. Start date: 06/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,450–$2,665 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations per physician orders, selecting appropriate sequences and parameters; monitor patients throughout the study; adjust imaging protocols as needed to optimize image quality.
- Position and immobilize patients; screen for MRI contraindications; ensure patient comfort and safety during scanning; communicate clearly about the procedure.
- Administer or assist with contrast administration per protocol; review patient history and allergies; monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
- Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and transfer of images; document procedures concisely; collaborate with radiologists and other team members to support interpretation.
- Maintain MR safety practices in accordance with ALARA principles; screen for implants, devices, or any safety concerns; ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain licensure, registrations, and required certifications; keep BLS current; stay compliant with state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Requirements
- Active New York license as a Radiologic Technologist (NY license required)
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Registration in MR (MR credentialed)
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a Fri–Sun schedule and participate in a travel assignment as described
