Job Title: MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Watertown, NY

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule:

• Night Shift – 3x12 Hours
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
• Weekend, holiday, and occasional call coverage required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Watertown, New York. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry and coronary care experience and must be comfortable floating across multiple acute care units including Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics.

Candidates must have prior successful travel assignment experience and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced hospital environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across multiple acute care units
• Float between Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatric departments as needed
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using MEDITECH EMR
• Support patient safety and infection control protocols
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities when required
• Deliver compassionate and effective patient-centered care

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License required
• Minimum 1 completed travel assignment required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Coronary Care experience required
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• Current AHA ACLS Certification required
• MEDITECH charting experience required
• Strong communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress clinical environments
