2026 03-04 ETL Developer / Data Architect

Vistrada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to serve as an ETL Developer / Data Architect on our Business Intelligence ("BI") team supporting key clients. Vistrada’s clients look to us to provide technical leadership and assist them in solving many of today’s most challenging digital transformation issues and complex data analytics needs. In this role, you will help address operational challenges associated with data modeling, system architectures, data warehousing, integration, and other BI / analytics needs by applying advanced capabilities, modern technology, and best practices to real-world scenarios. This candidate must have at least 4+ years of relevant experience, as described below:

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with clients on a broad range of Data / BI-oriented areas, including:

• Analytics data warehouse architecture design, development, and testing.
• ETL environment implementation and migration.
• Report / Dashboard creation using leading visualization technology platforms (e.g., Tableau; Power BI; Qlik; OBIEE).
• Data modeling, involving both structured and unstructured data sets.
• Relational data architectures.
• Data integration processes.
• Model-based system engineering.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree, or equivalent 4-year degree, in computer science or related information technology field, or a masters or doctorate in computer science or related information technology field.
• 4+ years of related experience developing and maintaining data interchange systems, interfacing with a broad array of varying data sets, including flat files, direct database connection, and XML transactions.
• 4+ years of experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica).
• 4+ years of experience with data modeling.
• 4+ years of experience developing data analytics ETL environments to support data analytics capabilities.
• 4+ years of experience coding with SQL.
• Experience with leading visualization technology platforms (e.g., Tableau; Power BI; Qlik; OBIEE).
• Ability to work independently and eager to learn new technologies, techniques, processes, software languages, platforms, and systems.
• Passionate, goal driven, team-oriented, and outgoing.
• Flexible, self-starter, and demonstrated ability to operate effectively with ambiguous and evolving objectives in a client-facing environment.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience using scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• 1 year of experience with Tableau Server Administration.
• 2 years of experience working with customers in data validation, troubleshooting, and business requirements definition activities.
• 7 years of experience performing database development using SQL or PL/SQL.
• 1 year of experience developing a data analytics ETL environment to specifically support Tableau visualizations.
• 1 year of experience using ETL techniques to support a data analytics program for a government entity.
• 2 satisfactorily completed statistics courses from an accredited college, or 1 year of professional experience using statistics.
• Strong written communication skills.
