To reinforce the go-to-market strategy planning and implementation of our Luxury Brands portfolio in the US Market, Coty is seeking a Trade-Marketing Manager.

This position is a unique opportunity to drive Coty Luxury strategic business plans to achieve annual goals, while integrating key Market insights and aligning with Retailers objectives. In this role, the Trade-Marketing Manager will make an impact on Coty Luxury fragrance and make-up Brands (Gucci, Kylie, Burberry, Marc Jacobs…), across all retail channels.

A successful candidate will be analytically driven, with structured thinking and strong business acumen to build a fully integrated go-to-market model, delivering on business and financial goals. Organizational savvy, able to take initiatives, the Trade-Marketing Manager will demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills to work across all departments (Global and Local) to accomplish key business objectives with efficiency and impact. The ideal candidate will understand the US beauty landscape and would have experience in building and executing trade marketing strategies across various channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Trade Marketing Manager, you are responsible for adapting the Brand strategy into effective channel approaches for the US Market, from conceptualization to best-in-class execution, to increase market share and growth within the region.

You will serve as the essential liaison between the Brand Teams, the Sales & Field leads, and key retail Partners, to ensure we are achieving the Company’s goals.

Your main focus:

  • Lead Go-to-Market strategy, using data analytics to drive business decisions. Partner with CMI to monitor market dynamics, consumer trends and best-in-class performers, and adapt marketing strategies accordingly. Identify short and long-term growth opportunities and create solutions based on a comprehensive understanding of the business.
  • Lead innovation sizing process (Retail & Gross Sales) with Sales Team, ensuring alignment both with marketing strategies and customer leads / exclusives.
  • Maintain a forward 3-year marketing calendar with dollarized programs to anniversary plans and drive incremental sales.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Supply-Chain, Finance, to plan, define and implement localized marketing strategies and innovation plans that are aligned to global brand objectives and that will drive successful execution to increase brand market share.
  • Drive sell-out acceleration, piloting the AOP non-saleable program (Gifts with purchase, samples, testers and display materials forecast). Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve the highest return on investment.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of new launches as well as activation initiatives to gather both quantitative and qualitative learnings. Adjust strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness and drive ROI on all our investments. Use data analytics to drive business decisions.
  • Serve as a primary point person for retailer’s market week meetings and ongoing updates with all accounts. Partner with Marketing and Sales to build up tailored talking points for each account.
  • Coordinate with local marketing on the development and timing of all brand marketing campaigns, ensuring all retailer needs and due dates are met.
  • Liaise with Sales Operations Team to ensure that all launches and activations are planned and executed in a timely manner, according to aligned allocation. Coordinate with them regarding specific development such as blow-ins and sampler boxes.
  • Manage planning and executing Coty footprint at retailer-led trade shows (Ulta FLC, Sephora SMC).

QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in trade/shopper marketing.
  • Strong understanding of US retail landscape (e.g., Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Amazon).
  • Proven project management and executional excellence.
  • Creative with robust problem solving & analytical skills (Excel and PowerPoint). .

Desirable:

  • Beauty / luxury or FMCG industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with syndicated data tools (NPD, Nielsen) is a plus.
  • Passion for beauty, makeup, and luxury categories.

  • Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 + bonus
