We're seeking a Project Architect to take on a highly visible, hands-on role delivering thoughtful, technically sound architecture across a wide range of project types.
This position offers the best of both worlds: autonomy and leadership on your own projects, paired with collaboration and support from an experienced group of architects, engineers, and design professionals. You'll work across multiple market sectors, engage directly with clients and consultants, and play a meaningful role in shaping projects that serve communities.

Lead projects as Project Manager, guiding teams, schedules, budgets, and deliverables from start to finish
-
Manage and mentor small teams of architects, designers, and draftspersons
-

Develop architectural schematic designs and construction documents using REVIT and AutoCAD
-
Coordinate closely with internal disciplines, consultants, vendors, and building officials throughout all project phases
-
Support education-related planning efforts, including coordination with Boards of Education and preparation of required state project forms
-
Conduct site visits to document existing conditions, prepare field reports, and develop existing-condition drawings
-
Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, reports, and technical documentation
-
Participate in pre-design, plan review, and pre-construction meetings
-
Oversee construction administration from contract award through project close-out, working with in-house CA staff as needed
-
Balance multiple priorities and adapt quickly to meet deadlines
What You Bring
-
Licensed Architect (or design professional actively on the path to licensure)
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in the A/E industry
-
Strong proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD
-
Experience with K-12, higher education, municipal, or civic projects
-
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Experience
-
Degree in Architecture
-
Hands-on experience with existing-conditions documentation, site surveys, and construction documents
-
Experience in K-12, higher education, municipal, or residential projects
-
Comfort collaborating across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment
Why You'll Love Working Here
-
Join a well-established, multidisciplinary firm with a collaborative culture
-
Work full-time in an in-office environment with opportunities for field involvement
-
Competitive compensation with overtime pay after 40 hours/week (once permanent)
