Technical Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner (TPO) to serve as the bridge between business objectives and technical implementation. This role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex, SLA‑driven live streaming initiatives through effective planning, communication, and technical oversight. The ideal candidate combines product ownership expertise, a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and a solid technical foundation in media or streaming environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product planning, backlog prioritization, and sprint execution using Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams‑including engineering, operations, and other product owners‑to ensure seamless orchestration of live streaming events.
• Define and communicate product requirements, success metrics, and delivery timelines for SLA‑driven streaming initiatives.
• Oversee the processing and management of live stream metadata, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Translate business and technical needs into clear user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria.
• Participate in sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stand‑ups to maintain alignment with strategic product goals.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize features that enhance live streaming performance and user experience.
• Monitor delivery quality, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to technical and operational SLAs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies with proven success in iterative delivery.
• Experience in live streaming platforms, media orchestration, or broadcast technology preferred.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Strong documentation and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with metadata systems, streaming workflows, and real‑time event processing is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Background in media, entertainment, or streaming technology.
• Experience with SLA‑based performance metrics and incident response coordination.
• Understanding of cloud‑based streaming architectures and related toolsets.

Additional Details The base range for this contract position is $69 – $79 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
