Director, Nephrology- Staten Island University Hospital - Northwell Health
Northwell Health’s Division of Nephrology is seeking a physician leader to serve as the Director for the Division of Nephrology at Staten Island University Hospital . The Division of Nephrology reports into the Department of Medicine and its service line for the health system. In this role, the Director will work with departmental and organizational leadership to facilitate operational and strategic planning that promote continuous improvement within our clinical and educational enterprises. The ideal candidate will have clinical, teaching, scholarship, and leadership experience to lead the Nephrology program at Staten Island University Hospital. The Director will have both administrative and clinical responsibilities.
Staten Island University Hospital has grown to become a 714-bed tertiary teaching hospital that spans two campuses, providing a vast array of services in health and wellness. Our 17-acre North campus houses Staten Island’s most modern emergency department, a medical arts pavilion, and a state-of-the-art education center which serves as the hub for our robust Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs, including a dedicated Nephrology fellowship and numerous other residency and fellowship opportunities. Our Prince’s Bay campus boasts its own emergency department and offers a range of specialty programs.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
