The Parts Truck Counter Person plays a crucial role in supporting retail customer service within a small team, typically consisting of 1 to 3 people. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, this position requires hands-on involvement with inventory control, order processing, and direct customer assistance in a parts counter environment. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service to retail customers. No travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient counter service to retail customers
• Manage inventory to maintain accurate stock levels
• Process orders and handle cash transactions accurately
• Assist customers with product identification and selection
• Replenish stock and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery
• Support sales efforts by providing product information and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in inventory management
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to accurately identify parts and products
• Basic computer skills for order processing and record-keeping
• Effective communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in retail or inventory management
