Registered Nurse - PACU (Perioperative RN) in Rochester, NY, United States. Start date: 07/20/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $1,932–$2,121 per week. Shift: 4x10 Days. Travel - Temporary Assignment. Setting: short-term acute care, teaching environment. The role focuses on Phase I & Phase II recovery in a 27-bed PACU unit within a teaching setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care (Phase I & Phase II) and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for diverse surgical populations
- Manage airway, hemodynamic status, and pain control (including PCA) in the PACU
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition during recovery; support endo/laparoscopic, general, ortho/spine/total joints cases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, RRT, Transportation, Unit Secretary) to coordinate care
- Monitor arterial/central access as needed and document care in the Epic charting system; adhere to EPIC requirements
- Fulfill unit needs, including floating as assigned; participate in a 16-hour orientation for onboarding

Requirements
- NY RN license in hand required for submittal
- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- EPIC experience required (hard requirement)
- Mandatory competencies: phlebotomy and IV start/placement
- First-time travelers accepted; locals within 75 miles are not eligible
- Orientation: 16 hours
