Business Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to support one of its largest entertainment clients in New York City. This individual will support a technology platform used to manage recording studio and production workflows and will be the sole Business Analyst within Global Technology dedicated to this application. While owning the platform from a BA perspective, they will work closely with the development team, studio teams, and business partners as the primary point of connection. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on user support, 25% on collaborating with developers, and the remaining 25% on independent backlog and documentation work. The Business Analyst will translate recording, scheduling, and billing workflow needs into clear technical specifications, while owning and prioritizing the application backlog to ensure enhancements and bug fixes align with business urgency and operational impact. They will also create and maintain application documentation to support training, adoption, and consistency across studios, facilitate training sessions for new studio onboardings and feature rollouts, and partner cross-functionally with studio managers and technology teams to continuously improve studio operations in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Requirements

Strong documentation skills (user stories, workflows, process changes, feature updates)

Experience triaging issues, documenting defects, and partnering with engineering teams

Ability to work independently Media & Entertainment industry experience

Experience with SQL
