Sr. Director of Operations

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sr. Director of Operations that will oversee all business and operations for Casa Nela restaurants: Bobo and Claudette. The position will be responsible for the re-opening of Casa Nela's French inspired Brasserie, Claudette, as well as the well established, Bobo Restaurant. This position's scope will expand to include additional business operations for Casa Nela over time.

The position directly oversees the General Managers while working closely with a wide range of directors and managers across the company and ultimately reports to the Founder.

This is a critical leadership role in the company, requiring the highest standards of performance to provide an internal role model and example of the company’s values. The position is responsible for ensuring that the restaurants comply with all laws and achieve both financial and qualitative performance targets, positioning Casa Nela for continued long-term growth.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and leadership abilities, able to adapt and adjust strategies and operations in response to changing demands , have a passion for creating guest experiences around food & wine, have an iron clad integrity, and love being around people!

Preferred candidates will possess the following:

- An infectious passion for and knowledge of Italian and French cuisine and wine

- A strong, proven track record of developing leaders

- At least 3-5 years experience managing multi unit locations
- Adept negotiation skills to manage and navigate difficult conversations with the owner, suppliers, and other stakeholders
-Ability to stay calm under pressure and effectively manage crisis situations, providing stability and reassurance to the team

- Experience at an executive level with new restaurant opening responsibilities such as hiring and training employees and leadership, implementing new systems, policies and procedure

- An understanding of restaurant financial models, budgeting, expense management and P&L analysis
- Effective time management skills to balance multiple priorities and ensure that operational goals are met despite challenging circumstances
- Commitment to ethical business practices and integrity, even in challenging situations, to uphold the restaurant group's reputation

- Be able to work a varied schedule that may inclide nights, weekends, and holidays as business dictates
