Description:
- This role involves providing speech and language assessment and therapy for students in accordance with their Individualized Plans.
- The position is contract-based, located in Bronx, NY, requiring a Monday to Friday schedule.
- Proficiency in generic communication technology is essential.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with others
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Organizational and time management skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to use personal computers and electronic devices
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- One year of prior Speech Therapy experience preferred
- Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency required
- NYSED Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hard of Hearing (TSHH)
- For Bilingual Therapist: NYSED TSSH Certification with Bilingual Extension
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
