Demand & Finance Ops Manager

Hi, we’re Speks, a Brooklyn-based product design company creating premium sensory products for teens and adults. We sell globally across wholesale, retail, and DTC, and we’re growing fast.

We’re looking for a Demand & Finance Ops Manager , a cross-functional role that intersects demand planning and operational finance.

You’ll ensure that the right inventory is in the right place at the right time while maintaining visibility into the credit exposure and financial risk of a rapidly scaling company. This role partners closely with sales, marketing, operations, logistics, finance, and will assist leadership with operational analysis, reporting, and special projects.

This is a full-time, in-office or hybrid role based in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

What You’ll Do

Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning

• Help maintain demand forecasts across DTC and B2B channels
• Monitor sales trends, inventory levels, and weeks of supply
• Coordinate inventory planning with sales, marketing, and operations teams
• Help prepare purchasing recommendations based on forecast demand and lead times
• Analyze inventory performance, aging, and sell-through trends
• Partner with sales teams on inventory projections and replenishment demand forecast for major retail accounts including Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble, international distributors, and other key partners

Operational Reporting & KPIs

• Track key metrics including inventory health, forecast accuracy, fill rates, inventory aging, and stockout risk
• Help organize operational data for leadership reporting and planning
• Maintain clean operational data and reporting accuracy across systems

Credit Risk Management & Operational Finance

• Help manage credit exposure and customer credit limits across wholesale accounts
• Support AR insurance management, reporting, and claims coordination
• Maintain visibility into receivables, aging, and account risk
• Assist with collections coordination and payment issue resolution
• Help monitor operational, vendor, and inventory-related risks
• Support insurance renewals, operational documentation, and risk reporting

What We’re Looking For

• 5 to 7 years in inventory planning, supply chain coordination, operations, finance ops, or a similar role
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets and forecast modelling
• Experience with forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, or operational planning
• Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple priorities
• Experience building scalable systems from the ground up
• Experience with receivables, credit management, or operational finance is a plus
• Experience in CPG, retail, wholesale, or e-commerce is a plus
