Entertainment Catering Company seeks qualified and experienced Sous Chefs.

We are looking for full-time or part-time Sous Chefs. We are an extremely busy catering company. Close to 1,2,6 Trains.

Led by two legends of the event, culinary, and hospitality industry. We take care of hospitality for the biggest music and entertainment events in the City and Tri-state area.

Competent Sous Chefs are the backbone of our company. Our Sous Chef helps manage and assists the head chef and operations manager in all culinary operations of the kitchen.

1. Must have at least five years experience in a catering hall, country club, or large scale commissary.

2. Must be able to work in a hot kitchen, fast paced environments, and in demanding situations.

3. Must be willing to work early morning or late night depending on the size/timing of the event.

4. Motivates, trains, develops and directs team members to deliver delicious, nutritious food, exceptional service, and accomplish daily goals and projects

5. This position oversees the daily administrative and operational tasks, promotes a culture of Food and Workplace Safety and is responsible for the kitchen team under him

6. Designs, manages and owns the overall catering and culinary experience, not just the offerings

7. Has a Passion for quality food preparation and taste

8. Strong passion for great food and hospitality

9. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

10. Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate team

11. Working knowledge of GSuite platform including Sheets, Slides, Docs & Gmail

12. Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices

13. Manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines- meet a variety of show and types of food for those shows

14. Ability to follow all Health & Safety standards

18. Demonstrates good judgment and decision making skills

19. Ability to work independently as well as in a team

20. Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment

21. Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation
