Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long-Term Care

Location: Far Rockaway NY 05201

Job Type: Contract

Shift: Days 5 days/week (8-hour shifts)

Hours per Week: 40

Pay Rate: $20$25/hr ($750$937.50/week)

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long-Term Care for an exciting job in Far Rockaway NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on care including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.

• Assist residents with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques.

• Support with feeding and ensure adequate nutrition and hydration.

• Take and record vital signs weights and other routine measurements.

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

• Maintain clean safe resident environments including linen changes and room organization.

• Follow individualized care plans and comply with all facility policies and infection-control standards.

• Offer companionship emotional support and enhance residents overall quality of life.

• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New York.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

• Ability to work day shifts 8 hours/day 5 days/week.

• Strong interpersonal communication and observation skills.

• Ability to lift turn and move residents safely; must meet physical requirements.

• Compassionate patient and dedicated to resident-centered care.

• Able to follow instructions work independently and function effectively as part of a team.
