Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Social Media Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid position located in Tarrytown, NY.
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for leading and scaling Sun River Health's social media and related communications initiatives. By increasing the organization's profile on social media and related platforms, this job offer will increase consciousness of Sun River Health, make the organization easier to find, and help patients and the public more easily connect with our care and services.
Essential tasks and Responsibilities of position:

»Create and implement unique everyday and weekly social media campaigns across all Sun River Health social platforms, including support of current programming, events, trends, and development of patient-facing social media; align content via Sun River Health social media planning matrix.

»Scale Sun River Health social media presence appropriate to the organization's footprint, growth, and local/community-located mission.

»Support site staff and health-center initiatives in the field/onsite by capturing and promoting Sun River Health work for/in communities and at community events.

»Support and promote additional organizational and livestream events.

»Align all social media video, design, and text with Sun River Health brand book and voice.

»Track and report on social media content for all platforms (monthly), including analysis of trends and opportunities.

»Build and management of Sun River Health Yext expertise graph, listings, review monitoring, and review response.

»Support moderation and routing of patient comments in alignment with organizational policies and voice.

»Support departmental projects and initiatives organization wide as needed, including outreach campaigns and collateral development.

»Help train and support Sun River Health staff on social media optimization, use, and alignment, including hiring promotion/marketing.

»Align social and website strategies ( perform website updates as needed (wordpress/Sharpspring).

»Lead and support grant-located and subsidiary social media initiatives.

»Design and support organic and paid social and search campaigns.


Minimum Education General Requirements: Bachelors degree
Bilingual English / Spanish both orally and written is preferred
Minimum Work-Related practice: 2-4 years
practice with social media platforms, usage tracking and reporting are required.
practice with Adobe Suite, Wordpress, Yext and Hootsuite) and video editing is preferred.
