What We're Looking For:

WS Healey Chevrolet is looking for an experienced and energetic candidate who will join our Service Department. This employee's key role will be Service Dispatcher.

Details About This Position:

This position is a Full Time Hourly position based at our WS Healey Chevrolet location in New Hampton, NY. The schedule for this position is a daytime 8-hour shift, with evenings and weekends as needed. Compensation will reflect the ideal candidate's experience.

What You Will Bring to the Table:

• Knowledge of a dealership Service Department is preferred.
• Prior use of the CDK dealership software, highly preferred
• Is familiar with a dealership atmosphere
• Is detail orientated and takes pride in their work
• General and competent language, interpretation, mathematical, and reasoning abilities

What You Will Do:

• Properly assign jobs based on technician level (to meet warranty standards), prioritize customers who are waiting for their vehicles
• Maximize tech hours through fair dispatching practices and monitoring individual tech hours daily
• Check job status as often as necessary, at least two times per shift, and report to advisor any change in time promised
• Monitor technicians to ensure efficient and safe work practices
• Ensure that every repair order is written on dispatch sheet
• Spot check repairs to ensure quality and timely completion
• Spot check RO’s turned in by technicians to ensure the assigned work has been performed
• Work to accomplish forecasted goals that have been established by service management
• Maintains a high level of organization and cleanliness in shop
• Works with service team to maintain customer satisfaction rating
• Inspect that the techs are performing proper Multi Point Vehicle Inspections
• Spot Checking work for quality control
• Other duties as assigned
