ServiceNow Architect

Our client, a Digital Transformation Services organization, is hiring a talented ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect to join their New York team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions, partnering with clients throughout the full project lifecycle from solution design through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HAM, SAM, CSM and related modules.

• Design scalable, secure and high-performing ServiceNow architectures aligned with platform best practices and the Now Create methodology.

• Define technical roadmaps, enterprise architecture standards, integration strategies and platform governance.

• Architect complex integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications, including ERP, HRIS, monitoring tools and third-party systems.

• Drive CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management initiatives to improve platform maturity and data integrity.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and architectural guidance to developers, administrators and delivery teams.

• Conduct solution design reviews, architecture assessments and code quality audits to ensure best practices are followed.

• Partner with clients and executive stakeholders to present technical solutions, architectural recommendations and strategic roadmaps.

• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical estimations, RFP responses and client workshops.

• Ensure the ServiceNow platform remains secure, compliant, scalable and optimized through effective governance, upgrade planning, and performance management.

Skillset

• At least 10years of experience within the IT industry, including at least 4 years in a ServiceNow Architecture role.

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is essential.

• Additional ServiceNow certifications, including CSA, CAD and CIS (ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM or CMDB/CSDM), along with experience leveraging ServiceNow AI capabilities, are highly desirable.

• Strong software engineering or application development background, with progression into ServiceNow Architecture.

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HAM or SAM.

• Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, ACLs and platform performance optimization.

• Deep understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and enterprise architecture best practices.

• Experience working in a client-facing consulting environment, engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering strategic technical solutions.

• Demonstrated experience supporting pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical proposals, estimations and RFP responses.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
