Custom Printed Fabric Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Custom Fabrication Manager with deep knowledge of fabric printing, sewing, and project management. This role is a blend of operations and business development: you'll work closely with our sales and production teams to estimate jobs, build accurate quotes, manage vendors, and oversee projects from initial inquiry through delivery. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to identify and develop new sales opportunities, leveraging your industry expertise to bring in and manage your own projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in custom sewing and printing, understands production workflows, and enjoys both managing projects and driving new business. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Job Estimating & Quoting: Develop cost estimates and quotes for custom sewing and printing jobs.

2. Vendor Management: Communicate with third-party custom fabrication vendors to obtain pricing, confirm production capabilities, and monitor job progress.

3. Project Coordination: Oversee active jobs from quote approval through production and delivery, proactively managing timelines, vendor communication, and problem-solving as needed.

4. Sales Team Collaboration: Serve as the technical resource for the sales team on custom fabrication capabilities, materials, and production methods.

5. Sales Team Education: Provide ongoing training to the sales team on fabrication processes, pricing drivers, and best practices to improve upfront job scoping.

Requirements

1. Strong attention to detail when reviewing specifications, building estimates, and generating quotes.

2. Ability to think creatively and problem-solve unique custom fabrication challenges.

3. Hands-on experience with fabric sewing, printing, and finishing processes.

4. Comfort working directly with vendors to troubleshoot production or pricing issues.

5. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple custom projects simultaneously.

6. Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with sales, vendors, and internal teams.

7. Experience in textiles, printing, custom sewing, etc. a strong plus
