PHP Developer (Backend) - Healthcare

Position Summary
Levante Health is seeking an experienced Backend PHP Developer to support the development of our enterprise Healthcare SaaS ERP platform . The role focuses on backend architecture, API development, database design, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
- Design and optimize scalable APIs, backend modules, and service integrations.
- Build and maintain relational database structures, queries, and performance improvements.
- Ensure application reliability, security, and system performance.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to implement technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and documentation efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional PHP development experience.
- Proficiency with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Not required):
- Experience developing SaaS or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Exposure to healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI).
