Medical Collections Specialist
- Claims Management: Review EOBs, resolve denials, and appeal underpaid claims.
- Collections: Monitor aging reports and contact insurers to negotiate settlements.
- Documentation: Accurately post payments and log all activity in USMON software.
- Productivity: Maintain a consistent follow-up of 30–35 claims per day.
- Work Ethic: Highly organized and able to juggle multiple accounts.
- Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written skills.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer tasks.

- Keep track of aging reports for assigned insurance carriers
- Reach out to insurers to discuss settlements and resolve outstanding balances
- Review and respond to EOBs, denials, and rejected claims ● Collect, review, and appeal any unpaid or underpaid claims to make sure they’re handled quickly
- Record all appeal attempts in USMON software so everything’s easy to track
- Post payments accurately to keep accounts up-to-date
- Follow up with 30-35 claims per day
