Office Manager
A precision manufacturing and machine shop in Huntington Station, NY is hiring an all around Office Manager to join their team! The Office Manager serves as the head of the office and has a large variety of tasks to be completed through the day-to-day operations. The Office Manager’s duties include handling phone calls from customers and vendors, purchasing company supplies, shipping and receiving, and invoicing to name a few. education: High School Responsibilities
- Accounting: Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable/Receivable, process weekly/monthly billing, and generate end-of-month and quarterly financial reports.
- Budgeting: Oversee the G&A budget, ensuring accurate reporting and cost-effective contract negotiations with office vendors.
- Procurement: Generate supplier purchase orders and manage inventory for shop tools and office supplies.
- Supply Chain: Execute daily shipping/receiving, packaging, and mailing functions.
- Customer Liaison: Process customer orders and provide high-level support to visitors.
- Systems Management: Organize office procedures, manage IT infrastructure, and oversee all office equipment maintenance.
- Personnel Support: Manage medical benefit programs, facilitate new hire onboarding, and resolve employee queries regarding HR and office policy.
- Administrative Support: Coordinate executive scheduling, meetings, and appointments.
- Quality Control: Assist with tracking and reporting for the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure operational compliance.
