About the Position
Position: Emergency Department (ED) RN
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36-hour guarantee per week
Location Requirement: 60-mile radius rule applies
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to recognize & respond to life-threatening situations
Strong knowledge of nursing principles & patient care
Patient assessment (clinical, teaching, mental & spiritual)
Strong leadership, prioritization & delegation skills
Excellent communication & organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments
Requirements
Requirements:
Current New York State RN License
BLS & ACLS (required)
PALS (required or within 6 months)
MEDITECH experience required
Travel experience required
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred:
Critical Care experience
Charge Nurse experience
Additional Requirements:
May be required to function as Charge Nurse
Pass lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
Defibrillation certification within 6 months
IV, medication & phlebotomy certification during orientation
Must follow safe patient handling & lifting protocols
