Senior Integration Developer

As a Senior Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using commercially available integration and data platforms (currently Boomi and Pentaho data). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, identify integration needs, and implement efficient and reliable integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of prosperous integration implementations.
tasks and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using the Boomi platform as well as Pentaho Data Integration to connect various applications, systems, and data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for integration projects.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and design documentation for integration solutions.
• Configure and customize Boomi connectors, components, and processes to meet specific integration requirements.
• Create/maintain/enhance SQL statements, stored procedures, and functions.
• Perform data mapping and transformation tasks to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and relicapability of integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, ensuring high system availcapability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business users, to ensure prosperous integration project delivery.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Boomi integration and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and scalcapability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other developers or team members as needed.
• Other tasks may be assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven practice as an Integration Developer, preferably with skills in Boomi integration.
• At least five years SQL programming practice (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL preferred).
• Strong knowledge of integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies.
• Proficient in using Boomi connectors, transformations, and processes to build integration workflows.
• Hands-on practice with Pentaho Data Integration is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST), XML, JSON, and other significant integration protocols and formats.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their integration capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to analyze complex integration requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• capability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
• significant certifications in Boomi integration or related technologies are a plus.
