Line Cook
Line Cook – Upscale Neighborhood Café | Brooklyn
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Line Cook to join our growing team at our upscale neighborhood café in Brooklyn. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in a commercial kitchen, thrives in fast-paced service, and can handle the pressure of a busy line while maintaining exceptional food quality and timely customer service.
Preparing all menu items according to recipes and chef standards
Maintaining consistency in quality, timing, and presentation
Demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness, organization, and station readiness Following kitchen safety procedures and complying with all NYC DOH standards
Collaborating closely with kitchen staff and management
Managing multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume service
Taking ownership of daily responsibilities
Bringing adaptability, teamwork, and creativity when appropriate A NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate is preferred but not required. Strong English communication skills are preferred, and Spanish is a plus but optional.
