Kitchen Manager

With Others is hiring a Kitchen Manager to lead and grow the back-of-house operations for our busy neighborhood wine bar in Williamsburg.

We’re looking for someone highly organized, experienced, collaborative, and excited by the intersection of hospitality, food, wine, and creative programming. This is a hands-on operational role for someone who can both create systems and jump into service when needed.

With Others is not a traditional restaurant or wine bar. Our food program includes a seasonal house menu alongside guest chef residencies, pop-ups, wine classes, and private events. We’re looking for someone who can help create structure, consistency, and strong execution in the kitchen, while preserving the spirit and creativity of the space.

• Oversee day-to-day BOH operations and kitchen organization
• Manage ordering, inventory, prep systems, pars, and vendor relationships
• Build and maintain food cost and labor targets
• Coordinate prep and service execution for the house menu, residencies, and private events
• Support guest chefs with onboarding, logistics, scheduling, and operational standards
• Hire, train, and manage BOH staff
• Maintain DOH compliance, cleanliness, and kitchen systems
• Collaborate closely with ownership and FOH leadership on menu development, programming, and service flow
• Help evolve a thoughtful, seasonal food program that complements the wine list and overall ethos of the bar

• NYC kitchen management experience preferred (minimum 2 years)
• Strong organizational and operational skills (comfortable navigating Google Sheets)
• Ability to balance strong systems with creativity and hospitality
• Experience with ordering, inventory management, scheduling, and food costing
• Calm under pressure and naturally solutions-oriented
• Interested in wine, seasonality, and collaborative hospitality
• Excited by a non-traditional and dynamic restaurant environment

• $30–$40/hour depending on experience
• Approximately 25–35 hours/week to start, with opportunity for growth
• Flexible but consistent schedule required, including weekends
• Based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
