Front Desk Coordinator
The right candidate will have the ability to multi-task and be well spoken, compassionate and a quick learner. They must present a mature, caring presence with our patients and be a team player able to work within a small team.
Skills needed: Excellent organizer, strong verbal communication talent, computer knowledge, detail oriented, able to empathize with patients, be flexible and cooperative with other staff members. Also, be available for extra hours when needed.
General duties include:
Greet and check-in patients- obtain accurate and complete personal information from patients including verifying insurance information.
Keep track of appointment schedules, make and confirm patient appointments, follow up on missed appointments.
Collect patient fees, co-payments, etc. and enter data into computer. Balance days end ledger and run daily computer back-up.
Answer telephone calls appropriately and follow up on return calls.
