Gap Associate Manager, Retail Experience Concept Design
- Partnering with Sr. manager in research and ideating design concepts for retail elevations through mood boards, 2D & 3D rendering of store interiors and windows.
- Close connection with brand marketing concept and ability to build out creative briefs for retail environments within the brand scope.
- Providing ideas across materiality and layout through development to fabrication.
- Creating layouts for retail interiors and windows, including fixtures, mannequins, clothing, props, and marketing collateral.
- Site surveys of various retail spaces to understand feasibility in concept.
- Producing detailed plans, files and layouts for vendor production and fabrication.
- Partnering with and overseeing technical drawings/plans to execute design and scalable activations
- Sourcing materials for sampling and production.
- 3-5 years of experience
- Project Management Skills. Ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
- Technical skills of 3D & 2D design. Proficiency in design soft wear such as SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite
- Technical knowledge of production, build out, and materiality
- An eye for aesthetics in functional spaces and the ability to story tell through mood boards.
- Specific interest in fashion, branding, retail experience, and interior design
