Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered

Location: Bronx, NY 10461

Position Type: Local or Travel | Full-Time

Compensation

• Local: $2,400/week

• Travel: $2,800/week

Schedule

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  (Must be flexible to work 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM as needed)

• Hours: 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day

• Weekends & Holidays: Required

Position Summary

A hospital is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS Registered) to join the Diagnostic Radiology team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled across multiple ultrasound modalities and capable of performing both scheduled and emergency studies in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including pediatrics, abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular (DVT) studies

• Conduct emergency exams such as:

  • Rule-out ectopic pregnancy

  • Testicular and ovarian torsion

  • DVT studies

  • Early and late miscarriage evaluations

• Perform 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester obstetric scans

• Complete pediatric studies including pyloric stenosis and bowel intussusception

• Ensure accurate image acquisition, documentation, and reporting in accordance with hospital protocols

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis

• Adhere to all patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards

Qualifications

• Required: RDMS certification through ARDMS

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital-based ultrasound experience

• Education: Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred

• Certifications: BLS preferred

• Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
