Legal Assistant
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Legal Assistant. This role focuses on supporting legal operations, organizing case documentation, maintaining records, coordinating communications, and assisting legal teams with administrative and compliance-related tasks.

The Legal Assistant will work closely with legal professionals and internal stakeholders to support document preparation, case coordination, reporting, and day-to-day legal activities.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize legal documents and records
- Maintain digital filing and document management systems
- Coordinate legal communications and scheduling
- Support contract and compliance documentation
- Track deadlines and legal administrative activities
- Assist with document reviews and reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Support legal intake and case coordination processes
- Prepare summaries and administrative reports
- Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders
- Maintain legal databases and records
- Assist with special projects and operational tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in administration, customer service, legal support, or operations roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Professional, dependable, and service-oriented mindset
