Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer who is passionate about power system design and has a strong background in electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing power systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Power System Design: Collaborate with a team of engineers to design building electrical systems or building power systems, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.

Schematic Design: Create detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and specifications for power distribution systems.

Load Analysis: Perform load calculations to determine power requirements and distribution strategies.

Equipment Selection: Select appropriate electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers, to meet project needs.

Protection and Control: Design protection and control systems, including relay settings and coordination studies.

Energy Efficiency: Incorporate energy-efficient technologies and practices into power system designs.

Testing and Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning of power systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

Documentation: Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, drawings, and documentation for client projects.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with electrical codes, standards, and regulations and ensure all designs comply with them.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in power system design.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM).
• Strong knowledge of power system principles, equipment, and components.
• Experience with protection and control design.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient design practices.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Professional engineering license (PE) preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
