In-House Tailor (Weekends)

We're looking for a part time in-house tailor to assist clients that come to one of our showrooms on weekends. As an in-house tailor, you will be instrumental in representing the Proper Cloth brand and our commitment to excellence. You will learn all about our dress shirt fabrics, garment construction, and our custom suiting.

We strive to deliver an extraordinary shopping experience, and as an in-house tailor you will provide an extra level of service to our customers. We're a small team and the right person has the potential to make a big difference. You’ll be getting hands on experience by providing necessary alterations that will give our customers their best fits in jackets, trousers, casual pants, denim, and some outerwear.

Requirements

• Previous experience in alterations
• Thorough knowledge of basic machines used in alterations.
• Proficient in sewing and making garments.
• Keen sense of color perception and fabric types
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional appearance and manner
