Administrative Assistant
JOB DEFINITION:
Provides administrative support to program staff under the supervision of program management. Assists with tasks to ensure the program runs efficiently.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. College, business or secretarial school training preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least one year of experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office Products
- One year of experience with administrative tasks preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides administrative services to support the operations and objectives of the program
- Assists with projects delegated by the Program Director and Management team
- Collects and distributes information for reporting purposes
- Maintains confidentiality requirements
- Assist with outreach and follow up through phone calls and written correspondence
- Updates program activities and schedules as needed
- Organizes meetings, prepares agendas, records minutes and shares key communications with the broader program team
- Participates in staff meetings, community meetings, and other staff and program group activities that support the operation of an effective program.
- Position Specific Duties
- Identify and implement quality improvement trainings and activities as part of professional development goals
- Complete QI Training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed.
