Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Next Generation Learning Standards and NY state assessments and learning standards, benchmarks, and assessments

• Experience teaching at the elementary level

• The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool

• Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement

• Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques

• Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners

• Evidence of strong classroom management skills with age appropriate experiences

• Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff

• Loyalty and evidence of being a team player

• Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community

Requirements: NY State certification in physical education and lifeguard certification

Stipend: $45,544 - $57,156 (dependent on college credits)
