Job Overview

Our client, an established and growing renewable energy provider, is looking to hire an Assistant Roofer to help assess customer roof conditions and provide assistance to the Roof Mechanic to complete repairs. This role was created a result of their growing demand for residential solar installations. The Assistant Roofer role is a full-time, permanent position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Traveling to customer locations across the New York City metropolitan area to inspect and assess roof conditions
• Helping to identify roof issues including leaks and damage
• Helping to complete roofing repairs
• Lifting and carrying roofing materials, supplies, and tools
• Providing general assistance as directed by the Roof Mechanic
• Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to

Successful Candidates MUST Have:

• Previous construction experience
• Previous experience working roofs
• Previous experience using and securing ladders
• The ability to work at heights
• The ability to work in various weather conditions
• The ability to lift heavy materials

Compensation & Benefits

• An annual base salary ranging between $800 to $850 per Week
• Sick Leave, Vacation Leave, and Paid Holidays
