Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Care (Home Care)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide adult home care services. The RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a home health setting, focusing on assessment, treatment, education, and coordination of care to support patient independence and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and ongoing patient evaluations

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care treatments

• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans

• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, and safety

• Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams

• Accurately document patient care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

• Ensure compliance with home care standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines

• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuity of care

Compensation

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,619.87/week

• W2 Rate: $20/hour

• Weekly Stipend: $2,870/week

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience (acute or post-acute within the last year)

• Current Adult Care Home Health experience required

• AHA BLS certification (ACLS required for Queens assignments)

• Strong clinical skills in physical assessment, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and patient education

• EPIC EMR experience preferred
