Bartender (Part-Time)

Position: Part-Time
Compensation: NYC Tipped Food Service Employee Wage + Tips

H&H Cantina is looking for an experienced, energetic, and dependable bartender to join our team. We're searching for someone who takes pride in making consistently great cocktails, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a strong team.

Schedule

• 1–2 shifts per week
• Friday availability is required
• One additional weekly shift (day to be determined based on business needs)

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails exactly according to our recipes and specifications.
• Maintain consistent measurements, presentation, and quality with every drink.
• Work quickly and efficiently during high-volume service without sacrificing quality.
• Properly use cocktail tools, including shakers, jiggers, strainers, muddlers, and bar equipment.
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
• Verify guest IDs and follow all New York State alcohol service regulations.
• Provide friendly, professional service while creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Assist teammates whenever needed—this is a team-oriented environment where everyone helps each other.
• Follow opening, closing, and side-work procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or cocktail lounge.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Comfortable following recipes exactly and maintaining consistency.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and professional.
