Job Title: Engagement Supervisor
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 9:00am–5:00pm or 10:00am–6:00pm
Compensation: $24.73 – $30.22/hour + benefits
We’re seeking an Engagement Supervisor to lead recreational and engagement programs for seniors and adults with special needs. The ideal candidate will supervise staff, develop and implement engaging activities, and promote resident wellness, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise activities and program staff, providing guidance and feedback.
- Develop and implement recreational and therapeutic programs.
- Monitor participation and adjust programs to meet resident needs.
- Manage program schedules and coordinate with vendors/consultants.
- Support resident safety, wellness, and compliance with policies.
Qualifications:
- High School/GED required; BA/BS in Recreation, Therapeutic Activities, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in recreational/therapeutic activities, including 1+ year supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with seniors/adults with special needs preferred.
