Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – CT

Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift Details

• Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Additional: On-call required; rotating weekends and holidays

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist (CT) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of radiologists. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient operation of imaging equipment while supporting clinical and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic examinations as directed by physicians and radiologists
• Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort
• Accurately position patients and adjust imaging parameters for optimal image quality
• Follow radiation safety and protection standards to minimize exposure
• Operate CT and imaging equipment efficiently and report any malfunctions
• Process imaging studies and ensure quality results
• Enter patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and established protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Valid New York State license/registration
• Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the field
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiographic techniques
• Experience operating imaging equipment effectively
• Understanding of radiation safety standards
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
