Human Resources Generalist – On-Site | Tappan, NY
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $90,000–$95,000 annually (Permanent Role)
Location: 100% On-Site in Tappan, NY

We’re seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) HR rockstar to join a dynamic team in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry. This is a hands-on role with high visibility across the organization, especially on the production floor. Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to production staff

  • Provide guidance and support on workplace matters

  • Foster a positive and compliant work environment

• Union Relations:

  • Collaborate with Labor Attorneys and Union Representatives

  • Participate in union negotiations and grievance handling

  • Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements

• Leave Management:

  • Administer FMLA and other leave programs

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure legal compliance

• Payroll & HRIS:

  • Process payroll for both the Tappan facility and bakery in Mount Vernon, NY

  • Utilize Paychex or similar systems for payroll and HRIS functions

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English – Plus

• Experience in Food & Beverage or Manufacturing – Highly Preferred

• Proven experience in employee relations and union environments

• Strong knowledge of FMLA and leave administration

• Familiarity with Paychex or similar payroll/HRIS systems

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work 100% on-site in Tappan, NY

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
