Legal Assistant - NYC

Golden, Rothschild, Spagnola, Lundell, Boylan, Garubo & Bell, P.C. (GRSLBG&B) is a respected regional law firm specializing in insurance defense and complex litigation. We represent local and national clients in state and federal courts throughout New York and New Jersey.

We are seeking experienced Legal Assistants to join our New York City office located in lower Manhattan. This role is essential in supporting litigation attorneys and managing matters from inception through Trial and Appeal. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced litigation environment. The Firm utilizes a virtual work platform for file handling and case management, and proficiency with digital workflows is required.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have the following experience and skills:

• Working knowledge of New York e-filing systems (New Jersey e-filing a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) within a virtual work platform for file handling and case management
• Experience with legal billing and timekeeping systems, including accurate entry of billable time
• Strong scheduling and calendar management skills
• 3+ years of relevant legal assistant or litigation support experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a digital environment
• Team-oriented with a flexible, solution-focused attitude
