Willem Hock and Lukas Canan announce the opening of Recente (pronounced reh-CHEN-teh),
a coastal Italian restaurant and an Aperitivo bar opening in July in the East Village. We're building a team of professionals who care deeply about hospitality, enjoy working with ambitious people, and want to be part of opening something built to last. What We're Looking For
We're hiring experienced Servers and Bartenders who are:
- Passionate about genuine hospitality
- Calm, organized, and professional under pressure
- Naturally curious about food, wine, cocktails, and spirits
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Excited to help shape systems and culture from day one
Previous experience in high-volume, quality-driven restaurants is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities- Deliver warm, polished service
- Develop thorough knowledge of our food, beverage, and wine programs
- Guide guests confidently through the menu
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service team
- Contribute to an exceptional guest experience every shift
- 2+ years of serving or bartending experience in full-service restaurants
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Wine and cocktail knowledge is a major plus
