Travel Pay Range: $60–$65/hourly

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical/Surgical & Telemetry team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, utilizing telemetry monitoring, clinical expertise, and strong communication skills to ensure positive patient outcomes and safety throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg and Telemetry patients following hospital policies and clinical best practices.

• Monitor, interpret, and respond promptly to telemetry and cardiac monitoring data.

• Initiate and maintain IV access, draw labs, and safely administer prescribed medications and treatments.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting changes and communicating critical findings to the healthcare team.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.

• Accurately chart all patient interactions and interventions using EPIC EMR .

• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.

• Educate patients and families to promote understanding, recovery, and overall well-being.

• Work every other weekend and two of three major holidays per department scheduling guidelines.

• Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and sound clinical judgment throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• License: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State (required)

• Certifications: BLS Certification (required)

• Experience: Minimum 1.5–2 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years) in a hospital of similar size or trauma level

• Preferred: Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center and EPIC EMR proficiency
