Duties Description Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 3, SG-23, within the Inside Services section of the Chief Technology Office, Workplace Services Bureau, the Information Technology Specialist 2, SG-18Specific duties include, but are not limited to:- Monitor and respond to email as needed- Perform daily monitoring of User Account Management (UAM) Requests and Service Desk Tickets, both new and currently assigned.- Process an average of 10-30 tickets daily.- Attend staff meetings or other meetings as required.- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, team members and supervisors.- Modify Active Directory accounts - group membership, name changes, phone number and address changes- Modify ny.gov accounts - email updates, name updates, entitlement updates- Provide support for file and application access requests- Work with Microsoft Exchange Administration in an O365 hybrid environment- Email account reprovision/scripting; SharePoint and Visio access; Distribution List and Shared Mailbox management.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science.ORA bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field and one year of experience in information technology.OR60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of professional experience in information technology.ORTwo years of professional experience in information technology.

Additional Comments ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis.
