Job Title: Social Worker - Cancer Center Support Services - Mount Sinai Chelsea - Full Time - Day

• Provide psychosocial services to patients and families in an outpatient cancer center at - The Blavatnik Family Chelsea Medical Center at Mount Sinai.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, concrete services, and ensuring access to services for patients with cancer.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and close collaboration with oncology social workers, including cross coverage.
• Participate in program development and implementation, research and quality improvement activities.
• May be asked to work at Mount Sinai downtown additional sites depending on needs of the department.

• Oncology social work experience required- minimum 1 year.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Excellent clinical, communication, collaborative, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting to rapidly changing patient and team needs.

• Masters in Social Work from an accredited school of social work. Knowledge of social work services, theories, techniques, community resources and agencies.
• New York State Licensure (LMSW or LCSW) from the New York State Department of Education. Oncology experience or health care experience in a medical setting preferred.

The salary range for the role is $44.33 - $51.73 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
