Commissioning Engineer

Description
SFE Engineering is looking for a dedicated Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Flushing. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our architectural and planning projects, ensuring that all systems function optimally and meet industry standards.
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the project lifecycle, overseeing the commissioning process for various systems. Your expertise will help ensure the successful delivery of projects that not only meet client expectations but also adhere to safety and quality standards in the architecture and planning industry.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the commissioning and retro-commissioning process for various systems and equipment
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications
- Coordinate with project teams to develop commissioning plans
- Document commissioning results and prepare reports
- Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase
- Provide training and support to project staff on commissioning protocols
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in commissioning or related engineering roles
- Strong understanding of building systems and commissioning processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in project management software is a plus
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
