Elliptical Construction LLC is a NY–based construction company with a reputation for thoughtful, high-quality work across a range of project types — from restaurants, cafes, and bakeries to residential projects and full gut renovations of small buildings. We are a small, nimble construction team with exacting standards, and every person we bring on plays a meaningful role in the outcome of our projects.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction operations across multiple active job sites. You'll be the eyes and ears on the ground — coordinating subcontractors, enforcing quality, maintaining site safety, and keeping work on schedule with our crew and subs. Versatility and a broad construction knowledge base are essential, and you'll work closely with the Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily field operations across multiple concurrent job sites
• Coordinate subcontractor scheduling, sequencing, and performance on site
• Conduct regular site walks to monitor quality of work against plans and specifications
• Enforce site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and local requirements
• Communicate daily progress updates, issues, and field conditions to the Project Manager
• Review drawings and specs in the field; flag conflicts or discrepancies
• Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and storage
• Maintain daily logs, photo documentation, and punch list tracking
• Liaise with building inspectors and facilitate inspections
• Support project closeout: punch list completion, site cleanup, and final walkthroughs

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of field supervision experience in commercial or residential construction
• Experience managing hospitality fit-outs (restaurants, cafes, food service) a plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple active sites simultaneously
• Solid understanding of all construction phases: demo, framing, MEP rough-in, finishes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Strong working relationships with trades — you know how to get the best from a subcontractor
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Strong communication skills — clear, direct, and professional with subs, clients, and inspectors
• Valid driver's license
• Spanish speaking preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
