Warehouse Clerk

WAREHOUSE CLERK

We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Clerk to work in our manufacturing facility Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm.

Our firm has operated on Long Island since 1972 and has a complete global distribution network and strong industry presence. Koehler Instrument Co., Inc. is a leading manufacturer in the Petroleum / Petrochemical industry, providing quality testing instrumentation and technical support services for research and testing laboratories for more than 50 years.

Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders, work orders and requisition slips. Label parts and distribute them to the proper departments (Shipping, Machine shop and Assembly).
• Open crates, boxes and other containers.
• Use the manufacturing software and locate materials in the warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to the proper location in the warehouse.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Help the shipping department pack customer orders.
• Sweep, dust and organize warehouse to keep work area organized and clean at all times.
• Must be able to lift 50 pound
